Aloepecia Areata
Hi, I have 5 yr old twin girls I am having problems with both of them in different ways 1 twin is on her second round of upsetting the whole house with her not eating and her violent outburst which upset the other twin. 18months ago the 1st twin did this and about 4 months later i noticed a bald patch on the other twins head at the side by her ears it got bigger to about 2/3 inchs but nothing more and eventually grew back so now its about 5inches long where as the rest of her hair is about 12/13 inches so it has taken along time. We moved house and schools back in august last year which we thought the girls were happy then at the begining of dec twin 1 started not eating again and the cycle started again by the start of january twin 2 had 2 patches on the back of her hair took her to see the doc because the skin was slightly peachey in colour she gave a perscription for tgel shampoo and said if that didnt work then we would have to see a dermatologist for possible steroids i dont like that idea. The problem now is the patch on the back of her head is huge now and she has smaller patches all over I am really worried because the first patches 2.5 months later have got stubble but she is still losing hair in other places on her head she is also going to be my bridesmaid on the 8th of june and she is now noticing her hair. Could someone please help me I am sitting here in tears so sorry if it sounds like im babbling but i just want everything to be normal again. Thankyou so much Selena
